8) What is a "good" translation?
A good translation is one which seamlessly conveys the original language text accurately to another language of preference, without changing the actual meaning of the original text. It requires a fair amount of skill, experience and high level of precision to come up with a 'good' translation; which we at Language Partners are proud to deliver.
9) What is the difference between an interpreter and a language translator?
Although both these professionals are linguist and deal with translations, a 'translator' is one who translates text from a source language to another in writing. While an 'interpreter' translates a language orally when one is speaking for the rest of the foreign language audience to understand.
10) What is the difference between consecutive interpretation and simultaneous interpretation?
In consecutive interpretation, the speaker takes a pause after saying a few sentences and allows the interpreter to interpret those sentences before carrying on with the next sentences. In simultaneous interpretation, the interpreter interprets simultaneously as the speaker speaks or delivers speeches, mostly used for high-level conferences.
11) What is your turnaround time for translations?
